The Lorraine starts cruising from the flower-decked town of Colmar in the most picturesque part of Alsace. The canal climbs over the mountains in a spectacular barge lift at Arzwiller. The region is noted for its many craft industries including porcelaines and crystal glass.

Characteristics
The Ms Lorraine is a hotel boat built in 1985 and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. The spacious main salon and dining room have picture windows and the vessel has attractive decor with wood paneling. The vessel also has a large sun deck.

La Reine Pédauque cruises the BURGUNDY CANAL between DIJON and VANDENESSE. The weekly 6-night cruises started from Friday afternoon and end on Thursday morning after breakfast. Guided visits to the medieval fortress town of Carcassonne, to Narbonne - the former Roman capital of the region, and to Minerve - a Cathare stronghold in the 12th century.
