    The "Marguerite" cruises the springtime in Holland - visiting the tulip fields and markets. Beginning May 18 the "Marguerite" moves to theChampagne region. The cruise through Paris is along the Canal Saint Martin - which goes under the Bastille. The cruise ends near Epernay - the Champagne capital. A specialist garden tour can be arranged - visiting the Jardin des Plantes in Paris - the gardens of Vaux-le-Vicomte and the M�et et Chandon "Orangerie".

    Ms Lorraine cruises from Colmar and Strasbourg through the Alsace region and on the Marne/Rhine canal into Lorraine to the village of Niderviller near Sarrebourg.     Highlights
    The Lorraine starts cruising from the flower-decked town of Colmar in the most picturesque part of Alsace. Nearby are the wine villages under the formidable Vosges mountains with fairy-tale castles - such as that of "Haut-Konigsberg". Strasbourg is the regional capital. The canal climbs over the mountains in a spectacular barge lift at Arzwiller. The region is noted for its many craft industries including porcelaines and crystal glass.

    Characteristics
    The Ms Lorraine is a hotel boat built in 1985 and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. The spacious main salon and dining room have picture windows and the vessel has attractive decor with wood paneling. The vessel also has a large sun deck.

    Highlights
    Daily excursions include a visit to the town of Auxerre, the regional capital, and to the nearby vineyards of St.Bris with it remarkable wine cellars and fine wines. There is an excursion to the medival village of Vezelay - a place of pilgrimage since the 11th century. One evening dinner is on shore. In Provence La Belle Epoque visits places made famous by the Van Gogh paintings, the papal palace in Avignon, Roman archetecture and the wildlife of the Carmargue.

    Napol�on cruises the river Rh�ne between ST. VALLIER and ARLES. The weekly 6-night cruises commence on Sunday afternoon and end on Saturday morning. Guests are transfered to and from Paris and travel first class in the fast TGV train. Guests are then met in Valence or Avignon and escorted to the vessel.
